HEY guys. So Vulkon has canceled their Indianapolis con, sad news for those going! BUT the hotel is letting Starbase Indy have FREE game space. So FREEKON will be held on 11/29

Spicer says that BARFLEET is still having their portion, so those who went during MavenCon keep that in mind!

You can get hotel rooms so you don't have to stumble home after gaming and drinking!

We already have a family bday party scheduled for that day, but I really wish we could go. I found hay bales the other day at ACE hardware here on the east side. They had them in a small barn. Otherwise, have a great time and we shall see you next time!

We're still hammering out the details for the next meeting but it will more than likely be at the end of Sept.

This is our annual "Fall-out" meeting. Bascially we wrap up the past year's worth of stuff that has happened with the Mavens and The Stink.

You (and any other new attendees) should be made aware that this is a bit like the end of a family reunion...with lots of liquor. We strive to make The Stink better each year so first we need to concentrate on making the Mavens better. Sometimes this means that toes may not only be trod upon; they may very well be trampled into the ground.

So, I don't want you to think that every meeting is going to be like the Fallout. I do encourage you and any other new people to attend and see "how the sausage is made" so to speak.

Just be aware that it could be messy.

Also, do not be afraid to speak up and make your voice heard. New ideas are not only appreciated, they are needed.

Great to hear something is replacing MavenCon. I had a blast there last year, and I'll be putting this on my calendar.

I'll check out the new website to keep tabs also.
